I had written that I chose topics from the generator’s candidate list rather than deriving them from the text. That is false: 49% of Sungbum works carry a topic the generator never proposed, and on 464 works it proposed nothing at all and the reading supplied every topic.
The real limit is narrower: what the reading saw per work was an evidence extract — title, the first 300–400 characters, colophon, folder — not the full text. That is enough to decide what a work is; it is not enough to decide what it teaches throughout. So the reading could add a topic the extract showed, but had no basis to refuse one the generator offered.
The sample bears it out exactly: of 20 questionable Karma tags — 16 the generator proposed and the reading accepted, 1 the reading added, 3 from the earlier passes. Where the reading added a topic, it holds.
